The first primary classification is the manufacturing process, mainly divided into ground-grade and rolled-grade. Ground-grade screws are precision-ground to achieve extremely high motion accuracy, positioning precision, and excellent stability, forming the cornerstone of high-end precision equipment. Rolled-grade screws, on the other hand, are produced using a cold-rolling process, offering good cost-effectiveness and superior load capacity, suitable for a wide range of applications where precision requirements are relatively relaxed and cost-effectiveness is a priority.

Within this broad category of rolled-grade screws, further subdivisions into several functional series can be made based on their structural design, performance optimization, and application adaptability.
