The SCS/AJ-UU series is a group of modular, enclosed ball slide units, encompassing two main functional types:
SCS-UU series: Standard fixed-type enclosed units. Pre-assembled and adjusted at the factory, providing users with a ready-to-use, high-precision linear motion solution.
AJ-UU series: Adjustable-clearance enclosed units. Based on the standard unit, a unique axial clearance adjustment mechanism is added, allowing users to fine-tune the fit between the internal guide rails and sliders after installation to achieve zero clearance or slight pre-tension, thus obtaining higher system rigidity and motion accuracy.

Technical Details: Adjustment Principle and Operation of the AJ Series
1. Adjustment Mechanism:
The AJ-UU unit has dedicated adjustment screw holes on the side.
Turning the adjustment screw pushes an internal precision wedge block.
The movement of the wedge block uniformly changes the interference fit of the ball slide pair, thereby achieving fine adjustment of the axial clearance (typically within tens of micrometers).
2. Adjustment Operation:
Use the provided Allen wrench to rotate the adjustment screw.
Clockwise rotation usually tightens (reduces clearance, increases pre-tension).
Counterclockwise rotation loosens (increases clearance).
Adjust until the movement feels smooth and there is no radial wobble, avoiding over-tightening which can lead to excessive resistance and increased wear.
