Structure and Material:
Main body: 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, lightweight and sufficiently strong.
Elastomer: Polyurethane (PU) plum-shaped pad, available in various hardnesses (e.g., Shore A 92°, 98°). Higher hardness results in greater torque transmission but slightly reduced compensation capability.
Key Performance Parameters:
Rated torque: Covers a wide range from a few tenths of a Newton-meter to hundreds of Newton-meters.
Maximum speed: Usually high, meeting the speed requirements of most servo motors.
Compensation capability: Radial deviation typically ≤0.2mm, angular deviation ≤1°, axial deviation ±0.5mm (specific values depend on the model).
Mounting methods: Provides two main methods: set screw fixing (clamping type) and flange + keyway fixing. The clamping type is more commonly used, offering easy installation and no backlash.
Selection points: Selection is mainly based on the driving side torque (considering the safety factor), the deviation between the two shafts, bore and keyway dimensions, and space limitations.
